I love this paper for everyday brush calligraphy practice! It’s a brilliant white, ultra smooth premium paper with a weight of 160gsm, giving a nice thickness. This is the same paper I use to print my beginners calligraphy worksheets onto.
With brush calligraphy, a smooth paper is a must, to avoid your brush dragging on any texture in the paper. This is especially important if you are using brush pens, to prolong the life of your pens. This paper is also ideal for hand lettering paper, and any situation where you want a crisp, bright white paper with a good weight.
Choose from A5 or A4 size sheets, 20, 40 or 60 sheets per pack.

I practice Persian calligraphy using a reed pen. This type of calligraphy requires special sheets. Because of that, I spent a long time—and quite a bit of money—trying out various papers, but unfortunately, none of them in the UK were suitable for this kind of practice. Eventually, I ordered sheets offered by Millie, and I must say they work excellently with both the reed pen and ink. In fact, they are better than any of the papers I tried in the UK. The price is reasonable, and the packaging and shipping quality were also outstanding. I just hope that one day Millie will offer these sheets in A3 size as well. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.
